At the historic intersection of 4th Street and Central Avenue – where two alignments of Route 66 meet – Visit Albuquerque has a visitors information center for all your Route 66 needs. Snap a photo behind a cutout of a classic car, grab a Visitors Guide, and ask our on-site staff about all the exciting things to do on Albuquerque’s Route 66.
The Information Station is inside the Rosenwald Building, on the southeast corner of the intersection. Look for the wrapped streetlight poles and the Route 66 photo-op on the corner, which stands in front of the visitor center.

Outside the Route 66 Information Station on 4th St and Central Ave.
The Crossroads Information Station (320 Central Ave. SW) is open six days a week, Tuesday through Sunday, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.

During your stay, visit us at our Old Town Visitor Information Center on Romero Street. If you’re flying in through the Albuquerque International Sunport, say hello to our volunteers at the Sunport Information Center near baggage claim.
The West Central Route 66 Visitor Center is operated by the City of Albuquerque Arts & Culture department, and is not staffed by Visit Albuquerque employees or volunteers. This center is on the westernmost edge of Albuquerque, on Nine Mile Hill. Enjoy sweeping views of the Sandia Mountains, a neon sign park, a lowrider display and a photography exhibit honoring the community during the centennial.
