VOLUNTEER FOR VISIT ALBUQUERQUE

Do you love Albuquerque? Would you like to help visitors learn more about the city? Visit Albuquerque has two visitor information centers at the Sunport and Old Town that are fully staffed by volunteers. Available shifts are 3-4 hours weekly; intermittent opportunities are also available.

Benefits of being a Visit Albuquerque volunteer include but are not limited to:

  • Interacting with individuals from all over the world
  • Attending meetings at different Partner locations 
  • Invitation to at least two volunteer appreciation events per year
  • Opportunity to support at special events i.e. the Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta, conferences and community gatherings
  • A safe and positive environment to socialize and stay active

Requirements:

  • Must be able to commit to at least 1 shift per month
  • Willingness to participate in trainings and meetings, as needed
  • Must be 16 or older to volunteer alone. Those 15 and younger are welcome to volunteer with an approved guardian
  • A love of Albuquerque and desire to provide exceptional customer service skills
  • Background check may be performed prior to acceptance of application
