It is the single most powerful marketing tool of the century. More and more consumers are tapping into the information available on the Internet. Visit Albuquerque's website contains the most up-to-date comprehensive information about Albuquerque for visitors, meeting planners, travel trade and media. All of Visit Albuquerque's publications are duplicated in some form and can be found on the website.
The Internet Listing differs from the printed Visitor Guide listing. Visit Albuquerque's website features all active marketing partners. With their membership, partners receive a 100-word listing, up to ten photos, links to their website, e-mail address and Social Media pages and a map for visitors to locate their business. When partners purchase additional categories in the printed Visitor Guide, they also receive an additional website listing for that category.
Visit Albuquerque publishes 300,000 visitors guides annually. These comprehensive guides are distributed via mail nationally and internationally. They are distributed within Albuquerque from Visit Albuquerque's two Information Centers located in Historic Old Town and at the Albuquerque International Sunport. Appropriate partners receive a free listing in this publication. Extended Listings and Additional Categories are available for purchase. Additional advertising opportunities are available within this publication through Advertise@VisitABQq.org. Partners also receive one free visitor guide per dollar of investment.
Targeting meeting planners nationally, the section of the website promotes Albuquerque as a convention and meeting destination. It incorporates pre- and post- convention information, hotel guestroom and meeting space specifications, Convention Center specifics, attractions, convention service companies and Visit Albuquerque.
The Partner Plaza is the exclusive password protected “partners only” section of Visit Albuquerque’s website devoted entirely to our marketing partners. The Partner Plaza contains access to key marketing tools that will help partner organizations effectively participate and align with the marketing efforts of the Visit Albuquerque. Partners are able to access such tools as the Relocation List, the Convention Calendar and supplements, advertising opportunities, Visit Albuquerque Staff and Board directory and a wealth of other benefits.
Visit Albuquerque provides this excellent networking opportunity to meet with fellow partners and exchange business leads during evening (5-7 pm) networking mixers at various partner locations (check your E-newsletter or the Partner Events website page for locations and dates). Partner brochures, as specified by our Brochure Distribution Policy, may be displayed and distributed from Visit Albuquerque’s Visitor Information Centers at Historic Old Town, the Albuquerque International Sunport and various convention locations.
The confidential, online (Partner Plaza) annual Convention Calendar (updated quarterly) lists future meetings, association and non-association conventions, and some trade shows scheduled in Albuquerque (booked by Visit Albuquerque only). The Convention Calendar provides the dates of the scheduled event, key contact information (name and address of the organization), and the size and scope of upcoming meetings. This calendar is an exclusive benefit offered only to partners of Visit Albuquerque.
FAMs provide hosting opportunities for Visit Albuquerque and our partners. Various Visit Albuquerque divisions arrange FAMs to showcase Albuquerque as a destination to qualified meeting planners, tour operators, travel agents, and travel writers.
These FREE online coupons are a great way to advertise with Visit Albuquerque. Attractions, activities, arts, dining & nightlife, accommodations, transportation (non-group), and shopping discounts all drive visitor business to your company! Convention delegates and tourists alike look for value and discounts. Nearly 80,000 potential customers visit the Visit Albuquerque website each month. Now, they will have the opportunity to see and print your discount coupon to bring to Albuquerque with them. It’s simple. Offer a discount that will entice customers to visit your business, give us one graphic (photo or logo) and we do the rest. The only expense to you is your discount.
Visit Albuquerque’s partner newsletter, “Industry Insider,” provides information to partners, local media and community leaders about industry and Visit Albuquerque activities and marketing opportunities. With a monthly distribution of 1,500+, your business can gain additional exposure by providing electronic material for the Featured Partner for $25 per issue. Partners are invited to submit information for inclusion in the newsletter (submission does not guarantee inclusion).
Partners interested in promoting their businesses through the media can take advantage of the Visit Albuquerque media list which is updated quarterly and found in Partner Plaza.
Partners may request, on loan, a 12-picture CD of Albuquerque images. Rights Granted: Non-exclusive reproduction rights to the photographs on Visit Albuquerque Partner Photo CD. Photos are to be used solely for purposes in promoting Albuquerque and New Mexico as a visitor and convention destination.
The Visit Albuquerque Partner list is available in either categorical, alphabetical or zip code format. Only partners may purchase computer-generated mailing labels of the Visit Albuquerque partnership for $30 a set. To minimize spam for partners, we do not offer the Partner List electronically.
A monthly list of names and addresses of people requesting relocation information is available in mailing-label format, suitable to be used with Avery brand labels #5160 or #5260. (1“x 2 5/8”).
Partners are referred when visitors, travel trade, travel writers, convention groups, and fellow partners make inquiries. Referrals are given by Visit Albuquerque's call center, two Information Centers, and Visit Albuquerque staff to promote your business.
Once a convention has been booked for Albuquerque by the Convention Sales Division, they are assigned a Convention Services Manager who assists the planner before, during, and after the event. Referrals to our partners to fill convention needs, requests for proposals (RFPs) in specific categories and opportunities to provide special offers to delegates are ways Visit Albuquerque’s Convention Services Managers interact with our partners. Visit Albuquerque staff is committed to impartial and balanced referrals to all our partners based on the requests and needs of our customers.
The Visit Albuquerque partner logo, camera-ready art identifying you as an Visit Albuquerque partner, is available for use on your letterhead and brochures. You also receive an attractive decal for display identifying you as a partner of Visit Albuquerque.
