31 meeting rooms of various capacities.

3. What is the largest downtown hotel? How many rooms? Meeting space?
The Hyatt Regency Albuquerque has 382 total rooms and 26,000 square feet of meeting space.

4. How many hotels rooms are within walking distance to the Convention Center?
There are more than 900 total rooms within walking distance and 17,000 rooms in the Albuquerque area.

5. What is the peak room capacity for a citywide?
900 peak rooms downtown

6. When was the Albuquerque Convention Center last renovated?
 The Albuquerque Convention Center underwent a $23 million renovation completed in December of 2014.

8. What is the distance from the airport to downtown?
The airport is four miles from downtown, or a 10-minute drive from the majority of our hotels.​

9. What is occupancy tax in Albuquerque?
There is a 5% lodgers tax on hotels + 1% hospitality fee.

10. What is the sales tax in Albuquerque?
Instead of sales tax, New Mexico leaves a gross receipts tax on goods and service providers (which is passed on to the buyer). In Albuquerque, this tax is 7.5%.

11. What are the transportation options from the airport to downtown?

12. Is it safe to walk downtown?
Yes, but as with any metropolitan area, safety awareness is always a necessity.

13. Is there a welcome program at the airport?
There is a Information Center inside of the Albuquerque International Sunport.
Located in the lower level of in the baggage claim area. There's information available 24 hours a day, but it is staffed with volunteers daily from 9:30am to 8pm, except Saturdays when it is staffed from 9:30am to 4:30pm. 

14. Is Albuquerque Convention Center a union facility?
No, the Convention Center is a 'right to work' facility.
