To officially enter for the grand prize, users must register their photo on PictureABQ.com before Tuesday, Oct. 4 at 11:59 p.m. MDT. Any photos submitted after this deadline will not be eligible for the grand prize, but will still be eligible for daily giveaways.
Albuquerque fans can check out submitted photos and vote for their favorites on PictureABQ.com. Prizes from Visit Albuquerque partner businesses will be given away daily between Oct. 1 - 9, with winners selected randomly by Visit Albuquerque (@VisitABQ) and Simply Social Media (@TravelNewMexico).
The grand prize-winning photo will be chosen by Visit Albuquerque's team of judges based on the judging criteria stated in the official rules and announced on Wednesday, Oct. 5. The winner (and his or her guest) must be available for the balloon ride on Thursday, Oct. 6 or Friday, Oct. 7 (depending on weather conditions and pilot availability).
Use of the #PictureABQ hashtag will continue through and beyond Balloon Fiesta, and many photos will be featured on PictureABQ.com and Visit Albuquerque's social media channels throughout the year.
