This year’s Guide features a special section celebrating the Route 66 centennial, along with inspiration, attractions and can’t-miss experiences that showcase our beautiful city. It’s the perfect resource to share with your customers, clients and guests!
As a Partner of Visit Albuquerque, you are entitled to a supply of Visitors Guides to display and distribute at your business. Don’t miss this opportunity to stock up and provide a valuable resource to your customers.
Three days have been set aside for our Partners to pick up boxes of the 2026 Visitors Guide.

You will be responsible for loading boxes in your own vehicle. Each box of Visitors Guides contains 50 copies and weighs approximately 25 pounds. A map, directions and additional details are available here.
Visit Albuquerque’s Albuquerque Community Experience (ACE) training program is designed to brush up your employees’ customer service skills and strengthen their knowledge of the city. Graduates of the program can answer guests’ questions about things to do and places to visit. The program also provides training on topics such as first impressions, effective communication and handling conflict. Graduates will receive a commemorative lapel pin and a certificate recognizing their completion of the program.

Graduates will be recognized as Albuquerque Community Experience professionals and will receive a complimentary Community Experience pass that allows each of them and one guest to visit attractions throughout the Albuquerque area. The Indian Pueblo Entrepreneur Complex, part of the Indian Pueblo Cultural Center, received the Economic Development Award at the 2025 New Mexico Infrastructure Finance Conference. The Indian Pueblo Cultural Center also received a grant from The Denver Foundation’s Greenwood Fund to support the collections care and preservation efforts at the museum, and a grant from the Henry Luce Foundation to support the expansion of the American Art exhibition. Congratulations!

The New Mexico chapter of the Commercial Real Estate Development Association, known as NAIOP, recently presented the Cleve Matthews Vision Award to Mike Canfield, President and CEO of Valliant Consulting Group and former CEO of the Indian Pueblo Cultural Center and Indian Pueblos Marketing, Inc. Mike is the immediate past chair of Visit Albuquerque’s Board of Directors. The award is given to someone with forward-thinking leadership and a strong dedication to the commercial real estate development industry. Congratulations on the honor!
ARRIVE Albuquerque received an Eagle Award for its renovation from the New Mexico chapter of the Commercial Real Estate Development Association, known as NAIOP. The renovation brought new life to the property, and is also a gateway and driver for future development in the area. Kudos on the award!
Contemporary art museum 516 ARTS recently received a $62,500 grant from the Creative Industries Division of the New Mexico Economic Development Department. 516 ARTS will use the grant to advance its artist-in-residency program by supporting affordable studio access, paid public programming, professional development and exhibition opportunities.

Golden Crown Panaderia recognized a need in the Albuquerque community and used their unique offerings to contribute. Golden Crown Panaderia set a goal for themselves to donate 1,000 loaves of bread to the Roadrunner Food Bank. With help from the community, volunteer hours and a devoted staff, they achieved that goal. They posted it on their social media sites and were even covered in local publications like the Downtown Albuquerque News.

Visit Albuquerque is launching a local content creator ambassador initiative called the Hometown Explorer Content Creator Program. We are looking for Partners who would be interested in participating in this endeavor. The goal of the program is to connect Visit Albuquerque Partners with local content creators through shared interests, resulting in expanded audiences for both parties. One-day itineraries will be created for local content creators to experience multiple Partner businesses throughout the city and create social media content highlighting those businesses to their audience. This program will take place between January - March 2026.

Albuquerque Restaurant Week is coming up in April 2026, and restaurants and hotels can participate! Restaurants will feature special prix fixe menus (fixed-price, multi-course meals) that allow diners to experience signature dishes while discovering new favorites. Albuquerque Restaurant Week is a great opportunity to attract new diners, showcase culinary creativity and gain exposure through the New Mexico Restaurant Association’s collaborative marketing efforts, including social media promotion, press outreach and local media partnership.
Restaurants can register a single location for $695 ($495 for NMRA members). Each additional location costs $495 ($295 for NMRA members). Hotels can offer special room rates for Albuquerque Restaurant Week visitors for $100.

Do you love Albuquerque and sharing the good news of the community with others? Visit Albuquerque is seeking individuals to volunteer at its two Visitor Information Centers located in historic Old Town and the Albuquerque Sunport. Volunteers will work 3.5-hour shifts once a week or on weekends. This commitment requires customer service training and knowledge of Albuquerque and the state of New Mexico. Visit Albuquerque provides customer service training and training on Albuquerque through our Albuquerque Community Experience (ACE) classes. Volunteers will also have the opportunity to volunteer at sporting events and conferences. Being an ambassador for your city and state is a fun and exciting experience that will allow you to meet people visiting from around the world!
