PICK UP COPIES OF THE 2024 ALBUQUERQUE VISITORS GUIDE

The 2024 Official Albuquerque Visitors Guide is being printed this week, and it’s full of information about places to go and things to do in our beautiful city. Visit Albuquerque will distribute the guides at our Visitor Information Centers in Old Town and the Sunport, at state-operated visitors centers in Glenrio and Gallup, during trade shows and special events throughout the year, and to travelers who request a copy.

In addition, copies will be available for you to share! As a benefit of your Partnership, you are entitled to a supply of Visitors Guides to display at your business and hand out to customers, clients and guests. Three days have been scheduled for our Partners to pick up Visitors Guides in bulk:

  • Wednesday, Jan. 24, from 10 a.m.-4 p.m.
  • Thursday, Jan. 25, from 10 a.m.-4 p.m.
  • Friday, Jan. 26, from 10 a.m.-4 p.m.

During these days, our Partners may pick up boxes of Visitors Guides at the loading dock of Visit Albuquerque’s building at 20 First Plaza Center NW, near 2nd Street and Copper Avenue. You will be responsible for loading boxes in your own vehicle. Each box of Visitors Guides contains 50 copies and weighs approximately 20 pounds. ACE Your Team’s Customer Service Skills and Knowledge of Albuquerque

Visit Albuquerque’s Albuquerque Community Experience (ACE) training program is designed to brush up your employees’ customer service skills and strengthen their knowledge about the city. Graduates of the program can answer guests’ questions about things to do and places to visit. The program also provides training on topics such as first impressions, effective communication and handling conflict.

Graduates will be recognized as Albuquerque Community Experience professionals and will receive a complimentary Community Experience pass that allows each of them and one guest to visit attractions throughout the Albuquerque area. The value of each ACE experience pass is more than $500!

Refresh Your Knowledge of Partner Benefits at Partner Orientation

Refresh your knowledge about all the opportunities you have as a Visit Albuquerque Partner at Partner Orientation. Partners are welcome to learn how to make the most of your benefits. Partner Orientations will occur every third Wednesday of the month. Light refreshments will be provided. Don’t forget to bring your laptop with you for a live Partner Plaza demonstration!

Molly Luethi, the co-owner of Kei & Molly Textiles, retired at the end of 2023. She spent 13 years helping build Kei & Molly into the successful social enterprise that it is now. We wish her the best in her retirement!

Albuquerque Isotopes Win Award

The Albuquerque Isotopes were recognized as the 2023 Bob Freitas award winner for best overall Triple-A organization in Minor League Baseball. The award recognizes franchise excellence, community engagement and success as a business operation. The Isotopes also won the award in 2007. Way to go!

Tula’s Kitchen Recognized for Development Project

The New Mexico chapter of the NAIOP Commercial Real Estate Development Association recognized Tula’s Kitchen with the Eagle Award in the small retail category. The awards program recognizes exceptional real estate projects. Kudos!

Indian Pueblo Cultural Center Receives Invest Native Grant

The Indian Pueblo Cultural Center was awarded a 2023 Invest Native grant. The grant will go toward the entrepreneur complex currently being built at the IPCC. The Invest Native grants are part of a $20 million philanthropic initiative by Wells Fargo to support a more equitable and prosperous future for Native Americans. Congratulations!

Visit Albuquerque and Partners Recognized as “Best of the City” Winners

Visit Albuquerque was recognized for managing one of the city’s top five “Best Local TikTok” accounts in Albuquerque The Magazine’s 2023 Best of the City Awards. Congratulations to social media manager Lara Brockway, who works hard to make fun, engaging TikTok videos that showcase our city as an exciting travel destination.
