Albuquerque, New Mexico -- A “Dreams Come True” Grand Opening Celebration of Aveda Institute New Mexico (AINM) on January 22, 2012, is being recognized with a Proclamation of Celebration by Albuquerque Mayor Richard J Berry.

AINM is quickly becoming a very visible player in Albuquerque's role as a Creative Economy leader. The Institute expects to accommodate 260 students a year; as of 2011 it is one of only 42 post graduate schools in New Mexico to offer Title IV Federal Funding-backed financial aid. That, and a full-time staff, support the diverse student body in the new, state-of-the-art, hands-on teaching facility, salon and spa.

New Mexico’s lower cost of living and AINM’s year-round enrollment allows students from across the state and the country to fulfill their dreams as professionals in the fields of cosmetology and esthiology. With an 88.46 percent graduation rate, 87.5 percent job-placement rate, and 100 percent state board examination pass rate, AINM will continue to fuel our Creative Economy right here in Albuquerque and the state of New Mexico.
