In late March, the City of Albuquerque announced that it would invest $1.5 million to help boost the recovery of the local tourism industry. The City-funded advertising campaign launched on June 1 with messages that focus on outdoor recreation; arts and culture; and distinctive Albuquerque experiences, events and attractions. The ads generated more than 205 million impressions through the end of the campaign in mid-October.
