Improve Your Team’s Customer Service Skills and Knowledge of Albuquerque

 Visit Albuquerque’s Albuquerque Community Experience (ACE) training program is designed to brush up your employees’ customer service skills and strengthen their knowledge of the city. Graduates of the program can answer guests’ questions about things to do and places to visit. The program also provides training on topics such as first impressions, effective communication and handling conflict. Graduates will receive a commemorative lapel pin and a certificate recognizing their completion of the program.

Get Your Tickets for the Isleta New Mexico Bowl

Exciting college football action will kick off at 3:45 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 27, as the University of North Texas Mean Green and the San Diego State Aztecs take the field for the Isleta New Mexico Bowl. Visit Albuquerque will be at the pregame Fan Fest with giveaways and a tethered hot air balloon, and we’ll be inside the stadium taking souvenir pictures inside our larger-than-life photo frame. Rio Grande Arts and Crafts Holiday Festival

The Rio Grande Arts and Crafts Holiday Festival advertised for their festival, which took place during Thanksgiving weekend, by making their artists the shining stars. They posted photos of completed artworks and the backstories of the people who created them alongside ticket giveaways and event posters. They also provided local social media creators with free tickets for themselves as well as tickets to give away to their followers.

Be a Part of Albuquerque Restaurant Week

Albuquerque Restaurant Week is coming up in April 2026, and restaurants and hotels can participate! Restaurants will feature special prix fixe menus (fixed-price, multi-course meals) that allow diners to experience signature dishes while discovering new favorites. Albuquerque Restaurant Week is a great opportunity to attract new diners, showcase culinary creativity and gain exposure through the New Mexico Restaurant Association’s collaborative marketing efforts, including social media promotion, press outreach and local media partnership.

Restaurants can register a single location for $695 ($495 for NMRA members). Each additional location costs $495 ($295 for NMRA members). Hotels can offer special room rates for Albuquerque Restaurant Week visitors for $100.

State Grants Available for Creative Businesses

Creative businesses in the state can apply for up to $25,000 for a grant to strengthen operations and support long-term growth. The Business Development & Expansion Grant Program, administered by the New Mexico Economic Development Department’s Creative Industries Division, is open to for-profit creative businesses with at least three years of operational history. Applicants may apply for one cycle per fiscal year. Cycle 1 runs Dec. 1-26 and cycle 2 runs Feb. 2-27, 2026.

Volunteer with Visit Albuquerque

Do you love Albuquerque and sharing the good news of the community with others? Visit Albuquerque is seeking individuals to volunteer at its two Visitor Information Centers located in historic Old Town and the Albuquerque Sunport. Volunteers will work 3.5-hour shifts once a week or on weekends. This commitment requires customer service training and knowledge of Albuquerque and the state of New Mexico. Visit Albuquerque provides customer service training and training on Albuquerque through our Albuquerque Community Experience (ACE) classes. Volunteers will also have the opportunity to volunteer at sporting events and conferences.
