EVENT ALERT: A really special achievement - Wright’s Indian Art is now in our 100th consecutive year of business! To commemorate this milestone, we will have a weekend Centennial Celebration, October 13-14, 2007.
From frontier trading post in 1907 to sophisticated gallery in the new millennium, Wright’s has evolved along with Indian art, and Albuquerque itself. Only two other businesses in the city can boast of this longevity. Moreover, the only change in ownership at Wright’s occurred in 1956! The original, Pueblo-style building was long a featured landmark of Albuquerque.

We think this rare achievement of stability and longevity in the Indian arts business – continuously in Albuquerque - is worthy of editorial notice on its own. We are happy to provide historic and current photos, and any other material you might require.
