Visit Albuquerque Announces 2025 Mother’s Day Gift Guide

Guide encourages shopping local at Albuquerque businesses

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – (May 8, 2025) – Visit Albuquerque, the city’s official destination marketing organization (DMO), has released its 2025 Mother’s Day Gift Guide designed to encourage residents to shop at local businesses for Mother’s Day.

“We created this guide to make it easier for residents to discover meaningful gifts for the special women in their lives while also supporting the small businesses that make Albuquerque unique,” said Tania Armenta, President & CEO of Visit Albuquerque. “Shopping local is a simple but powerful way to strengthen our community and celebrate the people we love.”

The guide includes seven categories of gift ideas and inspiration, highlighting Visit Albuquerque Partners and other local businesses:

According to the City of Albuquerque, the city is home to more than 40,000 small businesses. For every $100 spent at a local business, about $68 will stay in the community.

“When we shop local, our gifts go even further — bringing joy to our loved ones and helping Albuquerque’s small businesses thrive,” said Armenta. “We invite everyone to use the guide to find something special and make a positive impact.”
