7 Albuquerque Breweries You Didn't Know are Internationally Awarded

Our nation is riding on the wave of a craft beer boom and with more microbreweries per capita than Portland, Albuquerque is quickly emerging toward the front of the pack in the American craft beer foot race. From stouts, to IPA's, to pilsners, our city is receiving big nods from some of the most prestigious and competitive events in the world, including the those determined by blind tasting from the general public. Even the Wall Street Journal mentions Albuquerque's own La Cumbre Brewing in the opening paragraph of their article "Where the Beers Are: A Regional Guide to U.S. Craft Beers". Not to mention, New Mexican IPAs have won the National IPA Challenge for FOUR YEARS IN A ROW.

With a little help from New Mexico Dark Side Brew Crew's Beer Aficionado Christopher Jackson, we're revealing a refreshing list of 7 Albuquerque breweries that have won national and even international medals.
