Local 618 Musicians Association of Albuquerque

AFM Local 618 represents nearly 200 professional symphony, jazz, rock, country, Latin and theater musicians and teachers. You’ll see us performing at all of the New Mexico Philharmonic, Santa Fe Symphony and Santa Fe Opera concerts playing jazz at the Hotel Andaluz, bringing audiences to their feet at the Albuquerque Museum Amphitheater, the Hispanic Cultural Center, and the Outpost Performance Space, and many local area hotels, restaurants and nightclubs. Our musical community is vibrant, with an active working membership.

Chartered in 1915, The Musicians Association of Albuquerque, Local 618 of The American Federation of Musicians represents many of the finest professional musicians in New Mexico and El Paso, TX, including the musicians of the New Mexico Philharmonic, the Santa Fe Symphony, Santa Fe Opera and the El Paso Symphony Orchestra as well as freelance musicians of all genres.
