When Enough Is Enough Stage Play

Overview

WHEN ENOUGH IS ENOUGH
WRITTEN.DIRECTED.PRODUCED BY: ASHLEY MURPHY

WHEN ENOUGH IS ENOUGH follows the White family, a seemingly picture-perfect household whose lives begin to unravel when Tammy White a mother of two, secretly steps outside her marriage. While Tammy searches for excitement and convinces herself that what her family doesn’t know won’t hurt them, her choices begin affecting everyone under her roof. Her husband, Michael, struggles with betrayal and the painful reality that the family he loves is falling apart.

As secrets surface, the White children face struggles of their own. Avery, the youngest White, is a 17-year-old who is caught up in the pressures of his mother’s choices, the influence of the streets, and the temptations of young love. His teenage attitude and lack of direction set the stage for a family on the edge. Meanwhile, 7–year-old Heaven’s rebellious behavior and big mouth create even more chaos at home.

Through confrontation, heartbreak, faith, forgiveness, and a powerful reminder that “warning comes before destruction”, the Whites are challenged to stop, taking love, family, marriage, and God for granted. WHEN ENOUGH IS ENOUGH is a dramatic and comedic stage play about consequences, restoration, communication and learning when to stop before you lose everything.

The writer and director is a Chicago native, Albuquerque grown and a graduate of Del Norte High School. Ashley hopes this stage play inspires, encourages and brings laughter to your souls.
