Visit Albuquerque Launches New Virtual Tour

SKYNAV tour will serve as inspiration for visitors to travel to Albuquerque

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – (May 28, 2024) – Visit Albuquerque has launched a new virtual tour that allows people to explore panoramic aerial and street-level views of key neighborhoods and points of interest.

Visit Albuquerque partnered with the virtual tour company SKYNAV to create the tour. The stunning high-resolution 360° images, combined with videos, informational text boxes and interactive walk-throughs, allow website visitors to explore the city from the sky and the ground before ever setting foot in Albuquerque. The interactive tour was created as an inspirational tool for visitors interested in Albuquerque to begin planning their trip.

“We are excited to launch this new digital tool for visitors,” said Tania Armenta, President & CEO of Visit Albuquerque. “The SKYNAV tour footage captures Albuquerque’s unique beauty and will captivate potential visitors and encourage them to plan a trip to the city.”

With this new tool, users can view some of Albuquerque’s most iconic and well-known attractions and locations in a whole new way. The tour is designed to act as a teaser for visitors, giving them a taste of just a few unique experiences and places to explore in Albuquerque. In addition, meeting planners who are organizing conferences and events in Albuquerque can use the tool to explore neighborhoods and venues.

The included scenes feature iconic Albuquerque locations and other places and neighborhoods that are quintessentially Albuquerque.

“Visitors will want to experience Albuquerque for themselves after viewing the SKYNAV tour,” said Rachel Cromer Howard, Director of Marketing at Visit Albuquerque. “With the addition of the SKYNAV tour, Visit Albuquerque is utilizing cutting-edge technology to bring visitors to the destination.”

The SKYNAV tour can be found on Visit Albuquerque’s website at VisitABQ.org/virtualtour. To view some of the highlights of the tour, click here.
