ABQ Convention Center

Albuquerque Convention Center

In addition to recent renovations at the Albuquerque Convention Center, the complex is putting the final touches on a $25 million facelift. The Albuquerque Convention Center has a new look that better represents the unique architectural elements of our region.

The City of Albuquerque selected Dekker/Perich/Sabatini, a local architecture firm, to develop a design that better reflected Albuquerque’s history, art, culture and environment.

The designs included:

  • a new exterior façade
  • complete remodeling of the ballroom
  • a new entertainment deck in the ballroom
  • massive windows with panoramic views
  • the west building lower level atrium is completely remodeled and includes a fireplace
