The Albuquerque International Sunport is New Mexico’s largest commercial airport and serves as a gateway not just to Albuquerque, but to the state. The Sunport offers service to more than 32 destinations via eight major carriers. Getting to and from the Sunport
The Albuquerque International Sunport is located at 2200 Sunport Blvd. SE. Taxi and rideshare drivers are a great option to get to the Sunport. For taxi pick-up at the Sunport, head to Door 2 on the Bag Claim level. For rideshare pick-up, head to Door 7 on the Bag Claim level.
For those picking up a rental car, free shuttles run from the Sunport to the Rental Car Center 24/7 every 10 minutes. Catch the shuttle in the commercial lane outside of Bag Claim. There are three parking facilities managed by the Sunport - a parking garage, a premium economy lot north of the garage, and a basic economy lot east of the parking garage. Those picking someone up at the Sunport can park in the Cell Phone Waiting Area.

Enjoy the spirit of Albuquerque with local food options at the Sunport. Just past the TSA security checkpoint, discover the Food Hall filled with quick service restaurants like New Mexico Piñon Coffee, Cheese & Coffee and Flavor of New Mexico. Sit-down restaurants Indian Pueblo Kitchen and Teller Bar are also located in the Food Hall.
On Concourse A, travelers will find more classic New Mexican options including Sadie’s, Frank’s Famous Chicken & Waffles and Steel Bender Brewyard. More restaurants will open soon on Concourse B.
Art at the Sunport

The Albuquerque International Sunport has an extensive art collection throughout the airport. Learn about the story of flight in the state with the permanent history exhibit “Spirit of the Sunport: Albuquerque’s Aviation Heritage.” Located on Level 2 in the Great Hall, the exhibit spans 115 years of history, starting with Albuquerque’s first flight in 1911.
“Guitars in New Mexico” is an exhibit in the Great Hall as well, showcasing eight handmade, custom guitars made by New Mexicans. The exhibit also details the history and importance of guitars in Albuquerque.

Spend some time before your flight shopping at the local shops at the Sunport. Los Poblanos features products from the Los Poblanos Historic Inn & Organic Farm. Their signature lavender products are sure to be a hit with whoever is on your souvenir list. Museum of New Mexico Foundation sells items inspired by the state’s one-of-a-kind museums. Nob Hill Necessities is inspired by Albuquerque’s Nob Hill neighborhood and sells local favorites like Buffett’s Candies.

This pass allows you to access the terminal past the TSA security checkpoint without needing an airline ticket. Shop, dine and walk your loved ones to the gate. Requests can be made up to seven days in advance. Apply online, or stop by the FlySide Pass kiosk in the Great Hall on Level 2.
