Welcome to Albuquerque! There are many options to get to the Duke City. If arriving by car, Albuquerque is connected to both I-40 and I-25. Get around Albuquerque in your car with an average drive time of less than 20 minutes.

Seven major commercial airlines fly into the Albuquerque International Sunport (airport code: ABQ). It is easy to navigate with more than 20 destinations to fly to. It is New Mexico’s largest commercial airport with a world-class art collection. It’s a well-known fact that the Albuquerque Sunport is one of the most unique and beautiful airports in the country! If you’re flying in, there are numerous airport shuttles and rental car options for getting around the city.

Albuquerque is a major stop for both Amtrak and Greyhound. The Alvarado Transportation Center, located in east Downtown, is the transportation hub for Albuquerque. Catch a bus or train from the station. The NM Rail Runner commuter train makes day trips to Santa Fe and the surrounding communities easy. The ABQ Ride public bus system is free to ride, and includes the Albuquerque Rapid Transit system along the Central corridor.
