When you want to sip on something locally made, you'll find plenty of options in and around Albuquerque. The craft beer scene has exploded here, earning such accolades as a Top 10 beer destination from Travelocity and one of America's best beercation spots from Beer & Brewing Magazine. A number of local brewers have been awarded medals at prestigious events like the Great American Beer Festival.

There are dozens of breweries scattered around the city. If you want to hit multiple breweries in a single stop, drop by the bustling Brewery District, which can be found on Candelaria between Edith and I-25.

This local favorite has grown from a small brewing company to an award-winning craft brewery with two taprooms. After more than two decades in the business, the Canteen Brewhouse boasts a strong local following, as well as national and international awards. 

Marble Brewery

With three locations in Albuquerque, Marble Brewery is another award-winning local brewery. The company serves a handful of Albuquerque favorites, such as a hoppy IPA, a red ale, and the Wildflower Wheat. You'll also be able to find some of your Marble favorites at a number of regional grocery stores. 

Steel Bender Brewyard

Boasting awards for both their beer and their food, Steel Bender Brewyard is family-owned and serves up a multitude of craft beers in a casual and comfortable atmosphere.

Red Door Brewing Company

Red Door features not only amazing beer, but also a laid-back atmosphere and great service. The downtown location is the only brewery in the city that also has a full bar and serves craft cocktails and specialty drinks along side delicious pub food. 

Rio Bravo Brewing

With a combined brewing experience of more than 40 years, the brewers at Rio Bravo know what they're doing when it comes to craft beer.

The North Valley is home to a wide array of varietals that make for some of the region’s tastiest wines. Since 1984, Gruet Winery has produced some of America’s finest sparkling wines. Made with Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, these bubbly bottles are a favorite of sommeliers across the country.

Casa Rondeña

Established in 1995 by acclaimed vintner John Calvin, Casa Rondeña is one of Albuquerque’s most esteemed wineries. The winery's 1629 Club, named for the year Franciscan monks first brought vines to New Mexico, is an exclusive association where members sip fine wines in a sophisticated but relaxed setting.
