On December 11, 2023, New Mexico Black Leadership Council, applicant for a new Low Power FM broadcast station on 91.1 in Albuquerque NM USA, filed an application with the Federal Communications Commission for an original construction permit for a new station. Why Cultural Vibrancy is important.

NM Black History Festival & Events mission is to preserve the rich cultural heritage that African Americans have made to the state of New Mexico and the United States. February – September Annually

True NM is a program created in 2021 between the New Mexico Asian Family Center and the New Mexico Black Leadership Council.  True NM is antiracism, tricultural myth busting arts-based project to address true multiculturalism in New Mexico.
