A nonprofit, nonpartisan, public policy organization, the organization is known best for its unique town halls and proven consensus-building process. Members of New Mexico First stay in-the-loop on important issues facing the state by receiving newsletters, reports, and event announcements. Co-founded in 1986 by Senators Pete Domenici (R-NM) and Jeff Bingaman (D-NM), New Mexico First has since provided opportunities for active and engaged citizens. Individual membership costs $25.
