Overview

Create a striking fabric on the loom using metal! After creating your own wire fabric on the loom, you will learn how to use it in basketry, jewelry, 3D sculpture, and bas-relief 2D wall art.

During this workshop, you will learn how to:

Prepare a 3 yard warp out of wire, 3/8” to 1” wide
Beam the wire warp onto a 4-8 harness small floor or table loom
Weave the 3 yard woven metal warp to be used for jewelry or small sculpture
Sculpt with woven metal fabric and various ways of connecting for different applications

After the workshop, you will have unlimited access to Christine’s online curriculum for continued support and learning.

Students should have basic weaving knowledge.
