30th Annual Summer Thursday Jazz Nights

A seasoned performer known for her expressive delivery, commanding voice, and soulful interpretations, Toni Morgan brings an elegance and warmth to her performances, while Michael Matison, who came to singing later in life, delivers performances that are filled with grit, soul, and emotional depth. Together, they create a captivating musical partnership, and tonight, they perform timeless jazz standards, accompanied by Sid Fendley on keyboards; Alex Murzyn, saxophone; Lewis Winn, guitar; Artha Meadors, bass; and Mark Clark, drums. Morgan and Matison were recently nominated for Best Vocal Performance at the New Mexico Music Awards for their work with Got Soul, recorded live at Paradiso in Santa Fe, and Morgan is currently working on an original gospel album.
