The Pastel Society of New Mexico (PSNM) 2024 All-Members Art Show

The Pastel Society of New Mexico (PSNM) 2024 All-Members Art Show opens Friday evening, Nov. 1, at Weems Gallery and Framing, located at 5935 Wyoming Blvd. NE. A Meet-the-Artists reception will be held from 5 to 8 p.m.

Regina Held, Gallery Director of "Gallery with a Cause", New Mexico Cancer Center (NMCC) will serve as the judge for the show. The exhibit runs through Nov. 23, with Weems donating a portion of sales from the show to the Pastel Society.

Weems Gallery is honored to host this show, featuring 90 pieces of pastel artworks – ranging from landscapes, portraits, still life, contemporary pieces and more. – by artists who are predominantly from New Mexico.

The Pastel Society of New Mexico is a nonprofit arts organization founded in 1989 by a small group of artists seeking to promote the appreciation of the soft pastel medium as well as to contribute to the growing arts community in New Mexico. Today, the organization has more than 150 member artists primarily from New Mexico, plus others from almost half of the states across the nation.
