Alejandro Brittes, Argentine Chamamé accordionist and composer, has been hailed as one of the three most important contemporary figures of Chamamé, a traditional folk music style from Northeast Argentina, Paraguay, and Uruguay. The Brazil-based Brittes Trio includes André Ely (7-string guitar) and Carlos de Césare (double bass).
