Overview

Blackout Theatre Company proudly presents the world premiere of Santa Beva, a hilarious new comedy by New Mexican playwright Leonard Madrid. Beva Romero is a Bareleña whose life turns upside-down when she suddenly starts performing miracles. She is visited by two rude angels, in the guise of her two favorite cousins, who inform her that she's going to be a saint. The play is about self-acceptance, New Mexican culture, and the unbreakable bond of primos. Parental discretion advised for mild adult language and rude humor.

Santa Beva runs June 5-21 at CNM's Coal Avenue Theatre, Fridays and Saturdays at 7:00 PM and Sundays at 6:00 pm. All tickets are Pay-What-You-Will, with a suggested price of $10. A kickoff gala will take place June 4 at Tractor Brewing - Wells Park.
