Rick Springfield’s first love has always been music, continually ignited after picking up his first guitar at the age of 12 in his native Australia. Mastering the craft of songwriting far preceded his accomplishments as an actor and best-selling author. Rick Springfield is of course known for his iconic ’80s “Jessie’s Girl,” which received a Grammy Award for Best Male Rock Performance. Springfield followed up with more hits such as “Ive Done Everything for You,” and “Don’t Talk to Strangers.”
