The American Association of Private Railroad Car Owners is excited to offer an exclusive opportunity to dine in style aboard the privately-owned, vintage railcar, Northern Sky . Whether you’re celebrating a personal milestone with close friends and family or entertaining clients, this one-of-a-kind intimate dining experience is sure to impress.
The evening begins with pre-dinner drinks and hors d’oeuvres in the lower lounge. A multi-course meal with select wine pairings follows in the distinctive panoramic atmosphere of the upper-level dome. Chef Jeff Gilanyi’s custom menu will be tailored to your party’s culinary preferences, prepared fresh onboard, and served table-side by your personal attendant. The Northern Sky offers an elegant dinner setting.
Built in the Streamliner Era of the 1950s, the Northern Sky originally accommodated transcontinental passengers traveling on the Union Pacific Railroad. Today, the car has been updated with all the modern conveniences and amenities of a fine hotel and staffed with a chef and attendant to meet guests’ every need. The Northern Sky will be parked adjacent to the Albuquerque train station for a limited time this September in conjunction with the 42 nd annual convention of the American Association of Private Railroad Car Owners.
