PLACITAS STAR PARTY AND STAR TALK

Placitas Community Library’s fall Star Party will be November 15th, beginning at 5pm with solar viewing. At 7pm The Albuquerque Astronomical Society’s (TAAS) own Star Master will teach us about the multitude of stars and planets which will be in view that night. Afterwards, the sky will be dark, and the stars will begin to show themselves. Viewing will continue into the night, wrapping up at 10pm. There will be a variety of types and sizes of telescopes to guide you to the wonders of our dark skies.
