Hands-on discovery stations will educate guests about our pachyderms' natural history and diet. Special stations will also focus on the status of these animals in the wild and how our actions can make a difference. Visitors get the chance to create their own enrichment items, which will be used as food discovery items in the elephant exhibit. There will be games, keeper talks and more.
Join the ABQ BioPark on this fun-filled day in two locations, the elephant exhibit and the African Amphitheater. You will learn all about pachyderms around the world and your very own animals at the zoo.
Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts can also earn their elephant patch this day. Read about the Daizy Patch for Girl Scouts.
