Order Through Chaos Exhibition

Overview

Merge Modern Art Gallery is pleased to present Order Through Chaos, a curated group exhibition opening Friday, February 7, 2026 at Merge Modern Art Gallery, located inside Catalyst Coffee at 6010 Coors Blvd NW, Suite #2, Albuquerque, NM 87120.

Order Through Chaos explores how artists create structure, clarity, and meaning through their work in response to the chaos of the world around them. The exhibition highlights the ways artists use visual language as a tool to find calm, process complexity, and tell stories rooted in human emotion, relationships, memory, and lived experience. Through color, line, shape, form, and composition, each artist reveals a personal system of order emerging from disorder.

The exhibition features work by Emily Bharatiya, Caitlin Carcerano, Joel Davis, Thomas Christopher Haag, and Rachel Popowcer, artists whose practices range from meditative and intuitive to expressive and conceptually driven. Together, their works offer a collective reflection on how creative process becomes both refuge and response in times of uncertainty.

Order Through Chaos is curated by Angie Rehnberg, founder and curator of Merge Modern Art Gallery. The exhibition continues Merge Modern’s mission of presenting thoughtful, contemporary work that emphasizes craftsmanship, storytelling, and meaningful engagement with the Albuquerque and New Mexico arts community.
