Overview

Blackout Theatre Company proudly presents Ol' Dirty Rio Grande Valley, written by Barney Lopez and directed by Stephen Armijo. Maggie Garcia sells the finest hot green chile peppers in all the Rio Grande Valley, but her son Primo is sick and tired of small-town living, and even sicker and tired-er of green chile! When smooth-talkin’ Harvey Hollywood comes to town, Primo and the whole valley learn that sometimes, you oughtta be careful what you wish for. This brand-new twist on the old-fashioned melodrama is sure to make you cheer, boo, jump outta your seat, throw food, and maybe even change the story!

Performing at the Mine Shaft Tavern's Engine House Theater for one night only! June 22 at 7:00 p.m. All tickets Pay-What-You-Will! This show is appropriate for all ages.
