Overview

John Steinbeck adapted his novel of the same name. It premiered on Broadway in 1937 and earned the 1938 New York Drama Critics' Circle Best Play. A poignant tragedy centers around two migrant field hands, the average-looking but smart ‘George’ and the strong but mentally-challenged ‘Lennie’ who land work on a farm in California during the Great Depression. Their dream of owning their own farm is shattered when Lennie has an incident with the wife of the boss's son. Fridays and Saturdays at 7.30pm, Sundays at 2pm. Saturday April 25 at 2pm only. Thursdays April 16 and 30 at 7.30pm.
