Curator Joanie Cere is going way back—this time with “Old School Blues Classics”!  “Ladies Sing the Blues” is back for its 16th year!  “Old School Blues Classics” features a stellar line up of vocalists. This year’s show focuses on classic blues standards, played the way they were played originally.  Put on your dancing shoes and get ready to rock to some soulful and powerful music! Hillary Smith, Wendy Beach and Rachel Ross round out the powerful vocals for this VERY popular show. Get your tickets early, it always sells out in advance!

Band: Darin Goldston and Joe Warner guitars, JD Sipe bass, Arnaldo Acosta, drums, Larry Freedman, keys, Jody Vanesky harmonica, Glenn Kostur sax.  Special appearance by Kristina and Brent Leeper on vocals and keys.

All shows 7-10 pm, doors open at 6:30. Shows held at Albuquerque Museum Amphitheater (2000 Mountain Rd. NW). Parking is free in the Museum lot, on surface streets, and North of the museum in the open parking lots.

All ages are welcome. Kids under 12 get in free of charge.

Lawn chairs for grass seating / picnics welcome (keep in mind space is limited; ABSOLUTELY NO outside alcoholic beverages or glass, please)

Food and drink available from Slate Street Cafe at Museum Amphitheater

All shows rain or shine, no refunds due to inclement weather. Shows may be cancelled for safety reasons due to the presence of lightning within 5 miles of the amphitheater.  A New Mexico Jazz staff member will inform guests in this instance.
