Meet the Makers at T&R: Museum of New Mexico Foundation

Overview

Join us for an engaging conversation with Jamie Clements, CEO of the Museum of New Mexico Foundation (MNMF), and Teresa Curl, Vice President of Retail at MNMF, for a behind-the-scenes look at New Mexico’s dynamic museum system. Discover the extraordinary stories behind the objects in the museum shops, the artists and artisans who create them and the programs they help support.

The Museum of New Mexico Foundation supports the state's historic sites and museums, celebrating the art, history and culture of New Mexico and beyond. A vital part of this mission is the curation of the museum shops, where products are carefully selected to complement museum collections and exhibits. The shops feature an extensive inventory purchased directly from artists, alongside locally made and fair-trade objects. Revenue from these sales directly supports MNMF exhibitions, educational programs and public initiatives.

After the lecture, the shop will be open with a special selection of products from MNMF shops.

Town & Ranch is located at 1318 4TH ST. NW, Albuquerque, NM 87102.
