Overview

This workshop will guide you in creating a landscape of your choice using basic needle felting techniques on a flat piece of fabric. You will also learn the vocabulary words associated with needle felting and landscapes, as well as how to blend color, create textures, and make fine detail using a felting needle.

At the end of the workshop, you will be able to:

Create a composition that shows foreground, middle ground, and background
Use a felting needle properly and safely
Utilize different felting techniques such as color-mixing, attaching small details, and adding 3D elements
