Early Morning Trek Series

Overview

Looking to stretch your legs while learning more about your Open Space lands? Join us on a guided hike through some of the most unique spaces of the Open Space Division! Open Space lands host a diversity of flora and fauna as well as a rich and complex human history. Come excited to learn and ready to sweat! Please come prepared for a moderate-strenuous 2–3-hour hike with water, snacks, and closed toed shoes and dress comfortably for the weather. Meet at the Open Space Visitor Center.

8/17-Open Space Visitor Center, Trails: River and Canopy Loop Trail

9/21- Embudo Canyon, Trails: Embudo & 365 trail

10/19- Location: Piedras Marcadas Canyon, Trails: Piedras Marcadas & North Rim trail

11/30- Location: Volcanoes Day Use Area, Trail: Volcanos Loop trail

12/14- Open Space Visitor Center, Trails: River and Canopy Loop Trail
