Designing Architecture: A Beginner's Workshop

Overview

This workshop is intended for children 9 and older. Focusing on design and building architecture from an imaginative view, this program will be taught by Native American field professionals Miriam Diddy (Diné/Hopi) and Anjelica S. Gallegos (Jicarilla Apache/Santa Ana Pueblo). The workshop is split into two parts: Model Building, a sculptural activity, and Design Charrettes, a drawing activity. Workshop materials, take-away kits, and light refreshments are included. This workshop does not include museum admission. 10:45am arrival is recommended. Children under 15 years old must be accompanied by an adult.
