1970's Disco - 80's Free Style Dance reintroduced to The Duke City at The Cooperage Dinner and Dance Club in conjunction with New Mexico long time promoter of special events Danette Lovato Pimentel Music Enterprises Inc. and 1970's Disco Queen of the 70's and disco dance contest winner Wendy Urioste.
DJ’s and Disco started in Albuquerque in the late 1970’s. Cooperage was the place to be with Jim Schumacher owner. It was standing room only, lines wrapped around the building & shoulder-to-shoulder crowded on Wednesday, Friday & Saturdays every week! This is a Dance ReUnion of the 1970's to 1988 with Travolta Disco & 80’s old school free style dancing! Albuquerque is in desperate need of entertainment for the working class business people who still want to groove. There is nowhere else to go where one can enjoy appetizers, dinner and lite dancing right after work in a classy atmosphere, smoke-free and still be home by 9:00 or 10:00pm.
