Children's Book Festival

Overview

On Saturday, April 25, 2020, the National Hispanic Cultural Center (NHCC) hosts its second annual Children’s Bilingual Book Festival, the only one of its kind in the U.S. that features children’s books in Spanish and English and Native languages and English. The free festival features author readings, student storytelling and poetry, a book fair, entertainment, workshops for parents and teachers, and creative and book-related activities for young readers (K-6) and their families.

The festival is a partnership between the NHCC and the Indian Pueblo Cultural Center, Bookworks, Artful Life, The Public Library (City of Albuquerque), Dual Language Education of New Mexico (DLENM), REFORMA, and UNM Press.
