Overview

Learn how to carve and form design tiles that will be used in the “Plants & Pollinators” public mosaic mural!

This is a free art event for community members of any age. Participants will work alongside artists and apprentices from ALMA (Apprenticeships for Leaders in Mosaic Arts) as they create a “Plants & Pollinators” mosaic mural for the Bernalillo Community Museum & Garden.

Join us before or after tile making to learn how to care for pollinators and other beneficial insects while they sleep the winter away, with Sandoval County Extension Agent Bethany Abrahamson's Lecture: Snug as a Bug in the Leaf Litter: How Beneficial Insects Spend the Winter.
