Basic Ayurvedic Cooking Transitioning to Spring!


In this class we will learn the ancient secrets of transitioning from winter into spring.  Exploring longevity through digestive fire.  And empowering you to take your health into your own hands. Cooking savory, tasty food with garden herbs and the World’s spices.  We will gain an understanding of ways to heal through observing the elements and qualities of the world.  Together we will discuss you individual constitution through the lens of Ayurveda.  Than prepare and eat simple delicious food to feel good.

Chef Elizabeth Gallery has studied in kitchens for 20 years.  She is current a practitioner and student of Ayurveda, Herbal therapies and traditional cookery.

  • Springtime kitchuri – a classic Ayurvedic soup of split mung lentils, basmati rice and the seasons vegetables
  • Whole wheat Chapati – Light digestible whole wheat flat bread
  • Chai- ginger, cinnamon and cardamom tea with fresh almond milk
  • Lavender cookies with strawberry jam
