Overview

Amulets have been revered across various cultures and civilizations throughout history, serving as powerful symbols of spiritual and physical protection. These objects, often crafted from materials such as metal, stone, or wood, are believed to possess inherent energies that can ward off negative influences, evil spirits, illness, and danger. The significance of amulets extends beyond mere protection. They are also thought to promote fertility, enhance prosperity, bestow blessings, and contribute to overall well-being.

Join Lapis Room for the reception of our next installation “Amulets.” We asked local artists to create amulets of their own. Enjoy their works of protection and prosperity from Feb 6th until Mar 16th, everyday from 10:00 am - 6:00 pm.

Artists included: Yoté Jewelry, Tony Davis, Luis Contreras, JOMO of Doublecat Oddities, Stellar Metal Jewelry, Allysia Brooke Designs, Desert Goddess Jewelry, Liminal Clay, Studio Night & Morning, Kristin Diener, Polo García Colón, Lindsay Stribling, Will McConnell, Christopher Santos, Jayne’s Horseshoes, Pretty Altered, and Jacob Gutierrez.
