A More Beautiful Question: A Contemporary Dance Experience

A More Beautiful Question is an evening-length contemporary dance experience premiering six new works by eight dynamic choreographers in an original, mixed repertory performance by Keshet Dance Company.

It is the more beautiful questions which guide us to investigate more genuine problems, allowing us to activate the most creative, meaningful solutions. The eight invited choreographers investigate this rich concept through their own unique creative lenses, movement vocabularies, and life perspectives, resulting in an evening of inquiry, exploration, revelation, and joy.

Keshet’s Artistic Director Shira Greenberg shares, “The opportunity to explore the theme of inquiry has been an exciting process for the choreographers and dancers, and we are honored to experience the results of this creative investigation with audiences. The importance of questioning has never been more necessary in our lives, preventing stasis, and sparking progress for both personal growth and nurtured, thriving communities.”

This unique project boasts the new work of eight choreographers, including visiting artists and members of Keshet Dance Company: Shira Greenberg, Ana Lopes Aréchiga, Erika Randall and Teena Marie Custer, Elysia Pope and Juliana Gorena, Lara Segura, and Diana MacNeil.

A More Beautiful Question will premiere in Albuquerque at the Keshet Center for the Arts on November 1, 2024, and will run for two weekends only. Join us as we find our way to the more beautiful questions!
