“Elsewhere” Gallery Exhibit

Artisan ABQ will be open late and invites you in for L’After Hours! Come get creative with us, make community art, see our upcoming gallery exhibit “Elsewhere”, enjoy good company, food and refreshments.

On June 10th make art with us and try out different supplies. Artisan ABQ will have creation stations with a limited number of supplies for the community to use and create community art on the spot. 15% OFF art supplies during the event! Live Music by Ron Rougeau, giveaways and good times!

The gallery exhibit “Elsewhere” will feature exquisite paintings by local artists Adam Bustamante, Rocky Norton and Aaron Richardson. Immerse yourself in this special experience. See in person, the exceptional detail of Adam’s timeless figurative works and moody portraits. Rocky’s work is moving and captures captivating moments, people and spaces. He is a master of many trades and creative pioneer overflowing with proficiency. Speak to Aaron about his journey as a self-taught realist/expressionist painter and admire his ability to capture light with finetuned and stylistic brushwork.

Meet and create with artists in your very own community during the opening reception on Saturday June 10th from 6-8:30pm. The exhibit runs through July 4th and can be viewed during Artisan ABQ regular business hours.

Artisan ABQ is an art supply store but recently we have been cultivating more community engagement within our store. We have renovated our classroom area and turned it into a gallery space as well. We don’t “represent” artists like a traditional gallery does and 100% of sales go directly to the artist. The artwork and artists displayed in the gallery changes every month. We are more of a multipurpose art space. The gallery is also the classroom and is found inside Artisan ABQ (art supplies store) on the lower level.
