Business Closure Updates

COVID-19 | Albuquerque, New Mexico

We are tracking updates and noting updates to business closures, hours of operation, and changes in services, but for the most up to date information, please consult business websites directly.

Beginning Thursday, March 19, 2020, all gatherings with greater than 10 people in New Mexico are canceled, and all hotels, motels, and places of lodging have been ordered to operate at no more than 50% of their capacity.

Shopping malls, recreational facilities, health clubs, spas, movie theatres, and flea markets have also been directed to close. Essential establishments such as pharmacies and grocery stores will continue to operate.

All casinos and horse racing facilities have also been instructed to close. This initiative does not include tribal-owned and operated businesses, however many tribal casinos and hotels have followed suit. We strongly suggest contacting the individual casino, hotel or business on tribal land before visiting.

These closures will stay in effect until April 10, 2020, at which time the situation will be reassessed by the New Mexico Governor and City and State officials.
