Up, up and away the balloons go into the New Mexico sky each October! Few spectacles on earth rival the Mass Ascension, as hundreds of hot air balloons lift off from Balloon Fiesta Park to drift in the crisp early-morning high-desert air. This memorable tour also features an evening balloon glow with fireworks, a visit to Ancestral Puebloan ruins, a ride on the Sandia Peak Aerial Tramway and the culture and history of the Land of Enchantment.

This morning it is up, up, and away bright and early to Balloon Fiesta Park and the Mass Ascension. Next stop will be the Indian Pueblo Cultural Center to watch the Native American dancers and have lunch. Then it is on to theTurquoise Museumfor an informative talk on how to buy turquoise. Your day ends with a guided tour of historic Old Town.
DAY THREE – Sunday, October 4, 2020
Today you travel the Turquoise Trail Scenic Bywaypast former ghost towns to historicSanta Fe, the state capital. Once in Santa Fe you can take a guided walking tour of the historic district that ends on the historic Plaza and enjoy a hosted lunch. Then we will head for the evening’sBalloon Glowand a buffet dinner at the Gondola Club.
DAY FOUR – Monday, October 5, 2019
Take a ‘flight’ on the Sandia Peak Aerial Tramwayto the top of Sandia Crest. Marvel at the thousands of square miles of breathtaking scenery and panoramic views in all directions. It is then north toBandelier National Monument– best known for its mesas, sheer-walled canyons and the ancestral Pueblo dwellings found among them.Return to Albuquerque for a fun farewell dinner.
DAY FIVE – Tuesday, October 6, 2020
After breakfast transfer to the Albuquerque Sunport for your return flight home. Adios Amigos!
