Sponsored by the Central New Mexico Community College Foundation

In its 40 year history, Central New Mexico Community College (CNM) has transitioned from a technical/vocational school to a comprehensive community college. It has become the second largest educational institution in New Mexico, with more than 26,000 students currently attending classes at four campuses and a Workforce Training Center in Albuquerque’s metropolitan area.

The CNM Foundation was reorganized in 1992. Its mission is to provide the financial assistance necessary for the citizens of CNM’s service area to obtain the quality educational opportunities they deserve. The Foundation is committed to the principle that no student should be denied the opportunity for an education due to a lack of financial resources. The Foundation, its officers, and its board members work with the community to raise funds for student scholarships,
program support and other college needs.
