Albuquerque, N.M. – Last night was a great night at the Albuquerque Convention Center! The best inline speed skaters from across the nation competed for gold, silver and bronze in sprint events.

Two top contenders were Justin Stelly (Lafayette, La.) and Erin Jackson (Ocala, Fla.). Stelly and Jackson were both medalists at the 2012 World Championships and both qualified to compete at the 2013 World Games in Cali, Colombia. Erin Jackson became a sprint-night champion at the 2013 Indoor National Championships and Justin Stelly had a great performance, but fell short of a podium placement with a fifth place finish. They will both be competing tonight in the distance events. Once this championship is over they will be on their way to Colombia and then on to Oostende, Belgium for the 2013 World Championships.

Come to the Albuquerque Convention Center to catch a glimpse of these and other inline speed skating stars. Spectators can attend free of charge.
